Waident Technology Solutions Presents ‘GIVEMAS’—A New Holiday Giving Event in Naperville
Waident Technology Solutions, headquartered in Naperville, a technology support and cybersecurity company, is excited to announce “Givemas“—a new initiative dedicated to giving back to the Naperville area community. Waident is thrilled to partner with local charities and nonprofits to support the invaluable work they and their volunteer staff do, by giving back to them.
On November 14th Givemas kicked off with Waident staff driving a semi truck to Wisconsin to pick up over a dozen 4×4 pallets stuffed with overstock and shelf-pulled merchandise from Target, Home Depot and Amazon to name a few. Waident staff will then be setting up a pop-up store on Dec 5 at its Naperville office (1809 N. Mill St., Ste. A) and inviting community partners, charities and their volunteer staff to shop, for free.
John Ahlberg, CEO of Waident Technology Solutions, shared:
“Our company and employees are passionate about giving back, but we believe in taking innovative approaches. We thought, why not purchase overstock products in bulk and display them in a pop-up store format, and invite local charities, non-profits, and volunteers to select whatever they need—completely free of charge? And that’s how Givemas was born!”
“I did this on a smaller scale as an experiment for our team last year, it was so successful that we decided to go big this year, and make it about giving back to our community.”
